Bowen Yang is exiting Studio 8H. After a wildly successful tenure on the show, Yang, 35, will exit the cast of "Saturday Night Live" in the midst of Season 51, the breakout star confirmed.

Bowen Yang is saying goodbye to “Saturday Night Live.” Yang will exit the show in the middle of his eighth season following the Dec. 20 episode — featuring his “Wicked” franchise co-star Ariana Grande as host and Cher as musical guest —TODAY.com has learned.

Jimmy Fowlie, a writer for "Saturday Night Live," has issued a plea for help in regards to his missing sister.

“Saturday Night Live” honored Rob Reiner after the director’s tragic death. During its final episode of the year Saturday, the sketch comedy series flashed a tribute card of Reiner on the screen before the goodnight segment. The tribute featured an old image of the late director and his name.

During Saturday’s episode, which featured Ariana Grande hosting and Cher as the musical guest, the sketch comedy show took the time to remember Reiner, who was killed alongside his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, last weekend. The couple’s youngest son, Nick Reiner, has been charged with the murder of his parents.
