We can expect more sunshine with highs in the low 40s this afternoon, but tomorrow will be much warmer and windy.
A back door front will move in by Wednesday and Thursday keeping us dry and high pressure will remain the main feature for the week. Highs will stay above average all week, topping out in the 70s. Merry Christmas.
Morning temperatures in the 30s will warm nicely through the day thanks to plenty of sunshine and high pressure in control of our pattern. While you may need a coat first thing this morning, a light jacket or sweater may be more comfortable later this afternoon.

First Alert more snow on the way
WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - The next weather maker arrives late Friday into early Saturday morning. A fast-moving weather system will track to the north of Rhinelander. Light snow will be possible early Saturday morning.
Temperatures will rebound nicely this afternoon, topping out near 61, perfect winter weather for Christmas shoppers today. It should feel comfortable compared to recent days, making it a great day to be outside.
Rain chances come to an end this morning by around sunrise with clearing skies and gusty winds behind a passing front.
