The Los Angeles Rams' season boils down to their Week 16 rematch against the Seattle Seahawks. A divisional sweep against the second-best team in the NFC West would secure their position atop their division and give them a really good chance of locking down the number one seed for the playoffs.
In overtime, Sam Darnold hit Jaxon Smith-Njigba for a 4-yard touchdown pass — then connected with Eric Saubert for a 2-point conversion and the win. Matthew Stafford threw for 457 yards, and Puka Nacua had 225 receiving yards for the Rams. Those two connected on two touchdown passes, including a 41-yarder in overtime to give the Rams the lead.
The Seahawks took an early 7-0 lead. After the defense forced a turnover on downs, the hosts went 61 yards on five plays, the biggest one being a 46-yard screen pass to Kenneth Walker III. Zach Charbonnet finished the drive with a 4-yard run up the middle.
